The Lady Tasting Tea (for Meg)

from The Ambitions of Curiosity by Ivodne Galatea

/

about

A trio form piece, a kind of meditation on a lovely chord the guitaret has - minor ninth with missing root. The first part is repeated in variation at the end with various preverb effects.

The nature sounds are from an amazing night recording of an unknown bird by Freesound user uair01 called "unknown night-bird in Braunlag".

The piece is dedicated to the memory of Meg, who left us too early.
