Emigrants and Exiles

from Equations of Life by Ivodne Galatea

about

This is a form of ground bass, but with an enigma-style ground played on a Pianet. The piece is Guitaret refracted concurrently through several delays - a Deja Vu digital+BBD, a HeadRush emulating and a Boomerang II providing pristine digital, all routed through a Logidy EPSi Convolver setting the sound in the Taj Mahal.

The field recordings are after Cam relented and left Omsk, settling on local recordings:

Interested in orchestration using field recordings, per the great John Cage's suggestions (1937).
The pieces are all pataphysical book reviews. They consist of musical essays on books of the same title that haven't been written, but should have.
