The performance of In C features 21 Guitarets, 2 of which are the Pulse. I recorded it over a week using a looper. I laid down the pulse tracks with the help of my trusty Peterson bodybeat metronome, for a pre-established duration. Over the following days I sat for a while listening, and then playing along, then pressed a record pedal to record when I was happy with the result. This meant than generally each rendition was at least the third play-through, sometimes even the 6th. I think this meant I avoided any feeling of it being stilted.
